Div

...In Hyperweb

Div is the main character of Hyperweb. She is a happy-go-lucky, overly optimistic and curious kitty. Her design is inspired by the first original website theme, now named after her.

Her name can be written with less/greater than symbols: "<div>", or without: "Div". I prefer just Div because it's easier than adding &/lt; and &/gt; (without the slashes) every time I write her name.

Also, she has a worm on a string! She thinks its adorable :3

Origins

Div was originally designed to be a pet/mascot for the site. I wanted to make a pet simulator type game with JavaScript, inspired by GifyPet, where Div would start out small and evolve when more people clicked and fed her.

It turned out to be too complicated, so I went to a program I was more familiar - Construct 3. From then on it evolved into Div's Room, my first game that I completed!

Personality

Div always looks on the bright side and tries to cheer up her friends when they're sad. She is very loyal to them, alway wanting to help, as well as wanting to learn about what they do. She loves learning and trying out new things. Even if she's not good at it, she always has fun!

It's very easy for Div to make friends. She's just too charmingly cute with her big shiny eyes and friendly attitude. Though she can be a bit rebelious, something she learned from her best friend Span, who is a miscievious prankster. But when she looks at you with those puppy (kitty?) eyes, you know you will eventually forgive her.
